Premier League has appointed Marcio Maximo Barcellos as the first
Brazilian to coach a team in the SPL. Marcio Maximo was formerly the coach of the Cayman Islands national Team for 3 years.
The 41 year old Brazilian was also the head coach for Al Ahli Club, in Saudi Arabia, winning the league in 1995. Previously he had coached the U17 team of Brazil, the U20 team of Qatar, and the Vasco da Gama youth team. "Marcio Maximo is an excellent coach who brings with him a wealth of experience and knowledge." said Logosport's Eric Manasse, "We are certain he is going to bring some Brazilian flair to the SPL."
Marcio Maximo was the first coach to call Ronaldo to the U17 Brazilian team
and they have maintained a life long friendship.
