Anatoyli Ponomarev - Signs with Xanthi
21 year old Swedish Sensation signs for Xhanti, a Greek first division team.
Logosport's new signing, Anatyoli Ponomarev recently passed medical tests and signed for First Division Xhanti in Greece. Ponomarev was previously playing in Sweden at Djurdarden, Sweden. He has played in all the divisions of the Swedish National Team.
"I am very excited about playing in the Greek First Division," said Antyoli. "It is
a big step up for me." Anotyoli played his first game vs. Panathikaikos on Jan.
12th." Anatyoli only signed with us a month ago," said Eric Manasse," and the
fact that we were able to get him a team in Greece within that short time shows
how Logosport is capable of working in different markets. Our network in Sweden
and Greece collaborated to perfection to do this for Anatyoli."
Juan Daniel Torres on trial at Egalo
Juan Daniel Torres, phenomenal n.10 from Boca arrived in Greece for a trial with
first division EGALO. Juan Daniel Torres, a 20 year old from Boca Juniors
is undergoing a trial with EGALO, currently ranked 4th in Greece. "Alex Tektonidis, our
rep in Greece arranged this trial. The player is among the most exciting n.10 to come
out of Boca Juniors. I am sure he will make a big impact in Greece" said Eric Manasse.
ALAN MARCINA signs for Paok of Thessaloniki.
Alan Marcina, Logosport's 24 year old Canadian striker recently signed a contract with PAOK of Salonico. The Uefa Cup qualifier has signed the player to a 3 year contract and will lend the player to an affiliated team for the first 6 months." We are very happy that Paok has contracted their first Canadian player. Its a big honor for Alan to play in the UEFA Cup next year. As Paok does not have a foreign slot this season, he will start with them in June 2004," said Eric Manasse. Alan Marcina is a Canadian national team player and last played for Ottowa in the A league.
